That’s a bucket list trip

Long and kinda artsy, this nice little film shows the simple beauty of long trips Land Cruising Baja.

Thank you. Just what i needed this morning. Thank you. I liked the ending version of sloop john b. Who was that cover? Hope to see you in Az eventually.

Planning the Baja Divide on bicycles in 2025. I've been watch **a lot** of Baja vids.

That’ll be an excellent and brutal tour.

My longest dirt tour was about 10 days from Reserve out east to the plains and then south to Silver City. No resupply, and no towns or stores, and so I carried 10 days of food.

I imagine Baja will require a lot of water capacity. My touring rig can hold about 20 liters, which for me is enough for one dry camp between two full days of riding.

How much water are people typically carrying on the Baja divide?

Wow. That’s very intense…It’s between BD and possibly Turkey. We’d have a great home base there to really explore.

But BD is right here…. Decisions.

9-10L seems to be average for the dirt baggers. I can live off of mashies and candy bars. 😂😂

I kinda fit into that category but am reluctant to give up comforts sometimes. But I’ll do as my friends instruct. They’ve done it before. It will be quite the learning experience regardless of direction.

We have 2 possible place to utilize in Baja as well…. So weighing.

No bad options in TR vs. BD. Either would be an incredible tour.

And yeah, you can stuff a lot of jerky and dried mashed potatoes into bike bags.

Funny you mention jerky.

Best jerky in the US.

Sitting down to watch the video now...
We're in the thick of planning 10 days in Baja this December (pending finishing my front end refresh and getting an alignment in a town with one good, but part time alignment tech, gotta schedule it out 2 weeks ahead?!?!?! 😧 )
