I fear I may be having a coolant leak in my 2006 LC. Can anybody recommend a good shop in or around Georgetown, TX or Round Rock, TX or even down into Austin, TX.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Bearden Automotive in Austin. They shoot straight and explain things thoroughly. I think they are reasonably priced as well.

There is the Land Cruiser Specialist in Austin, always heard good things.

They are up in Cedar Park I think, so closer to Georgetown than Austin. Spoke with the owner on the phone and have heard good things, it's just too far outside the city for me.

I've used Century Automotive for my LC. Father/son team. They are generally knowledgeable though not an LC-centric shop. Century Automotive - Rosedale - Austin, TX

An LC friend in town swears by Juke Auto - Juke Auto - East Austin - Austin, TX

just hold on to your wallet last time I checked on getting work done at land cruisers specialist they were on the very high end of the spectrum.
But in some cases its worth more for someone that knows the cars they work on. Just not to me.

Land Cruiser Specialist is definitely in Austin. I had them replace my radiator, their prices were reasonable, not the cheapest, but I certainly wouldn't describe them as higher end.

I also use Rising Sun Japanese Auto, on Lamar Blvd. He is a specialist on Cruisers, they are always in the shop getting worked on. Really nice owner, tells it like it is, and never tries to up-sell anything. I would highly recommend them, but again, they are not the cheapest if you are looking to save as much as possible. I drove by there today and there were two Cruisers our front.

You don't live in berry creek by chance do you OP?

Also bearden just repaired a toasted wiring harness for me for a reasonable price. The owner knows his land cruisers.
