I've bit off more than I can chew with my 1969 fj40. It is just too far gone, so I am trying to fund something in better shape. I was trying to put 60 series axles under it but I didn't trust my welding. All of this is near Winchester Virginia, pickup only on the big stuff unless we can arrange something.
Here is what i've got.
From the 40:
3/69 fj40 frame and clean title, front spring hangers cut off of it but it is solid. Body is all hacked up from the cowl back, but has the Vin plates. $200
front fenders, very decent shape, a few small areas where surface rust has pitted, but great for being on the east coast $40 a piece.
pull down tail gate (was a soft top rig) including latches and jerry can holder and original jerry can. Very little rust, if any at all. $125
Hood, has chrome strip and aftermarket mack bulldog
lots of surface rust but solid. $60
Front bib with marker lights, good shape but needs a good sanding and repaint. $100
Windshield frame, no glass. Good shape, not rusted out. Has wiper motors on there but not sure if they work. $80
From the 83 fj60 Truck had 145K
Power steering box and pump $175
Price reduced...Front axle, including steering rods, and rear axle, rear axle has had spring perches cut off and tack welded wider for 40 swap. $250 for both. Rolling on stock chrome rims and pirelli scorpion tires with some tread left.
4 sp tranny and t-case $175 shifted and drove well
Complete 2F engine , bought it from another mud member a couple of months ago. Had around 150-160k on it. Ran excellent. No alternator, exhaust manifold, or power steering pump. Paid $500, Would like to sell for the same. I will sell it together with the other engine at my last post for $600.
Make me an offer on anything if you do not like the price, not looking to rip anyone off, just fund a new rig.
