A/C question

ok i searched and cannot find.

which attachment on the a/c is for filling? one is marked s and one is marked d. is d for discharge? and if so do i need to?

should i even attempt this or what?

A/C recharging should be left for those who are trained. It requires special equipment and now you CAN be liable for substantial fines if you attempt it and end up releasing refrigerant and your neighbor rats you out!

besides that, a pro is less likely to overfill and ruin your compressor.

S is for suction, that's the side you fill. Ditto the others, and if your system has been opened, it must be evacuated with a vacuum pump to work properly. If you can find an honest a/c guy (not too many around), it's worth the money to do it right.
