Hello
Reaching out to see if this might be a common problem. 1999 with 134k miles
In this past week the A/C blower has been shutting off intermittently. Once off it will not come back on by messing with the panel dials or switches. But shutting the LC off then on, it comes back on.
This has happened to my wife a few times. I'm driving it around and it has not happened to me so I'm going by what she tells me.
My thought is it could be a lose connection, but I'm not sure where I would look?
I also understand some people have had issues with the entire dash panel.
Another oddity which may or may not be related. We have been hearing a strange noise now and then. It sounds like a whistle. We have both heard it. We can be sitting at a red light then suddenly hear this sound. It's short, less than a second. And again, very intermittent. We won't hear it for a few days, then on a drive we will hear it every 5 to 10 minutes. We were thinking it's one of the tracking devices we use. Like a chipolo but we've checked for that.
Thanks for any insight
