A/C Blower Fan only works on High

My climate control decided to only work when set to High. Low/Med/Med-High don't work. I have looked around on the forum and found pieces of posts. It seems the 100 series has relay/control module that goes bad (and not cheap) and the 60 series has resister that commonly fails behind the glove box. Any one have any thoughts on the 80s series of what to check first? I can only assume its either some resistor or relay from the symptoms.

I think the relay is in the driver side kick panel..

Blower Resistor, B-4, located behind your glove box.

Look up under there first to see if someone accidentally kicked it if that's possible.

Post back what you find and/or what fixes it so the rest of us can learn.

Cracked blower resistor

Long time no update, but i finally got a free weekend to troubleshoot.

It's a little buried to be kicked on the LX plus the blower amplifier is covering it. I used the post here to find it.
No ac no heat no blower 96 lx450

The ceramic of the resistor assembly is severely cracked. Hopefully be able to put an order in this week. It's been a reeallllly long time with only the high fan setting.

Ok I have replaced the resistor and now the fan works on the lower settings.

But now I have a new problem, the lower fan speeds are all the same now. Low, Low-Medium, and Medium all blow out at the same speed.

Any one have any thoughts on what else is broken to cause the lower fan speeds to be the same speed?

Looks like after some searching the problem is with one of the amplifiers (there are 3 listed and range between $165-$650)

Anyone know any troubleshooting to determine which has gone bad?

Do you have the "auto" climate control?

AC controls partially dead

You might peruse this thread, esp post #4. I had a different issue, but it ended up being the control module or whatever it's called.

So what ended up being the actual culprit in this situation? I have a similar issue where only the HIGH fan speed works and the other 3 speeds do not.
