Hey y'all. I swapped the heater tees on my LX470 yesterday and then drove a lap of the neighborhood. This morning, I got in and tried to start it, all I get is a click and whirring noise.
There was a direct starter lead under the hood when I bought the truck, and if I turn the key to ON and touch it to the battery, the truck starts.
Starter relay tested good with a multimeter and 12v battery on it. Immobilizer and neutral switch seem fine as it'll start when the starter is jumped. Something between the ignition and the starter isn't working. I thought perhaps that there's a bad ground somewhere, and tested continuity across the ground near the heater tee.
I'm not sure where to go from here. At least I can get it started and get it to a mechanic if it comes to that.
