'98 to 06+ headlight/grill conversion complete w/a couple pics

Do I have to upgrade to the newer one piece lights if I just want the 06+ grill? I was hoping to just replace the old one piece sub panel trim with the new bracket and 2 piece sub panel trims under my old lights with the new taller grill. Will the new two piece sub panels work under my old 2 piece lights?

I think they will but it’s better if you change to the 1pc headlight as well. They won’t match if you will only replace the grille, but that’s just my opinion.

Does anyone have info on what all parts are needed to facelift a 2002 land cruiser to the 2003 - 2005 grill?
I know that the two sub assembly panels are needed for below the lights, but will I need to order the long mounting bracket that goes behind them as well, or will the 2 panels that go under the lights mount to my existing 2002 bracket?

I've had this link bookmarked for quite some time, but it only gives details on the 2006+ facelift.
The only info it provides about a '03 - '05 facelift is:
"If you have a 2002 or older you could easily update to the 2003 grill and keep your existing headlamps." and nothing else.
I'm trying to figure out the parts list needed for going to the 03 - 05 grill.
