tires been balance twice and are brand new... new alignment. tire pressure equal in all...

it is like bump steer.... but not as bad. very annoying..........
 
Turn the rotors... lower control arm bushings..
 
nothing to do with rotors.... brand new toyota rotors less than 3k ago... no problems with shaking during braking.

stock suspention, I also put all new Bilestein shocks and struts on when I did tires 300 miles ago.

all sway bar links are new.....

serioulsly what is left
 
Good question, sounds like everything is new.......

What about rear axle play?
Worn out arm bushings?
Something loose?
Driveshaft lubed/checked for play?

Did they use the Hawkea adapter for balancing the wheels and tires?

Control arm bushings= rubber pieces that isolate the movement of the control arm from where they mount to the frame of the truck. If they are failing- they could allow movement that is undesirable.

Hawkeye tool- Toyota wheels are hubcentric, not lug centric. To properly balance a wheel/tire combo- the balancing machine must grab the wheel from the hub, not the lugs.

by control arm you mean "sway bars" they have a tie rod end looking thing...... if so...... both were broken so I also replaced them with brand new ones at time of shocks....

No I'm talking about the suspension "A" arm.

no I have not done those.... how difficult is that... will it need re alignment after this? how can I tell if they are worn

control arm bushings are kind of a pain. You'll likely want an alignment, since the prior alignment was with old bushings, which might have been failing. You can tell if they are worn by jacking the front of the truck up and seeing if when you try to push the hub front to back, you see the A arm flexing where it attaches to the frame.

I have a lift in my shop.... so it has been on there a few times a week for this entire nightmare....... and you can rock tires any which way and everything is tight and how it should be....

should I take tire off to check this....

it looks like it is going to rain here all weekend so I might as well put it up there again and check this...

but like this morning... drove 25 miles to work.. drove like a million bucks...... but I bet on the way home or nixt time I drive it the bump steer will be back... it is so random, and depends how smooth the road is

I doubt it's control arm bushings if you can really torque on the suspension and see nothing move that shouldn't.

I'm at a loss at this point.

me also....... I am going to rotate the tires to see if for some act of god that helps, I will check everything again when I have it in the air, but I just dont think I will find anything different..
