Ya I can definitely do that, just don't have such a wall at my house. I'll be at my dad's tonight and I'll try to pull up to the garage. Like I said I've done very little aiming thus far, so I'd also appreciate adjustment suggestions when I post a good pic of the beam pattern.

Thanks Andrew.

To start you want a 3.5" drop at 25ft. Maybe more if you are lifted. It may be difficult to aim the headlights if the beam pattern is s***ty. You just don't want to roll up behind someone with your beams hitting the mirror of the guy in front of you.

I hate to be obtuse but I have a couple questions. Are these LED or halogen headlights? If halogen is the upgrade just the housing and lens? Also what is the price? I see $320 and $280 on page 1.

Not obtuse at all. Headlights are for H7 halogen bulbs, so although the bulb socket type changes they are still halogen. Now, you could of course run LED bulbs, or even HID if you wanted to. I'll be trying some LEDs at some point, but wanted to try these out 'stock' first. The new housings (lens included) come with halogen bulbs. It really is everything you need to be plug and play. You'll reuse your turn signal and parking bulbs on each side.

I can't comment on price, cause I already forgot how much I paid (was bundled with the fogs I got as well), but I can tell you it's worth every penny for me at least.

Are there any black tinted versions of this headlight available?

All the extra sets I brought in with the group buy has been sold out within 2 weeks. I will be placing another order shortly with other parts, can get them for you. PM you.

I took a different approach to get a darker look... on accident. I decided to put some clear film over the lenses when I got mine to protect from rocks and whatever a bit better than without it, and hoping that it would fade before the actual lens in the sun. Turns out I accidentally ordered a light smoke tint. It was a hell of a pain to put it on, and it's not perfect, but I feel like I'm a bit more protected on this investment and it looks really good (IMO). Plus, I can always rip it off.

Yup, still can get them for you guys, PM sent. ;)

is light output improved with these over the early 100 series LC lights?
I certainly think so... my old headlights were super faded inside on the reflector and I didn't have any defined cutoff. When I pull up behind someone I've got a nice clear cutoff line on their trunk. Not as good as a projector, but it will do until I hack these open to put in a projector. Regardless of light output, just having a better housing to put projectors in someday was a win in my book.

I'd still like DEPO tail lamps!
