Just texted Ian the other day and he reports that the headlights are on US soil awaiting inspection. These should look sweet on our rigs!

Ladies and gentleman, it is in US soil pending Xray inspection by CBP, hopefully no physical inspection is required. Will update exact arrival date in Houston once I hear anything from my Freight forwarder.

Just got another update from freight forwarder, shipment is still pending X ray inspection by the almighty CBT in New York, will keep you guys update.

Good news, shipment just cleared CBT X ray inspection on 5/18. Waiting for inland transport to Houston, should get them within 7-10 days.

This is great news. I have been waiting on these anxiously.

Too bad about the taillights, but at least it gives my budget a rest until I can figure how to get those.

Being one of those that works in close relation with import and export from the US, I can only imagine the stress that Ian has gone through to get these figure it out. Thank you for the effort.

Definitely great news, should be able to get the tail lamp in the next shipment, so you can take a break now.
Crazy CBT just slammed me with a $820 bill for the physical inspection as well!! Thought it was only X-ray inspection and was told physical inspection too, no wonder takes so long. It is not fun for sure!

Definitely a huge thank you for taking this whole thing on. Also nice to hear you'll be doing it again and the tail lamps are still a possibility. I'll be watching for that thread when the time comes.

Finally shipment is in Houston custom bonded warehouse as of today 6/1 after the long wait. Will finish the paperwork tomorrow and pick them up on Wednesday. Should be able to pack and ship it out by the weekend.

SO stoked. I should have time next Saturday (week from tomorrow) to get some work and wiring done. I sure hope the package shows up in time! In the picture of the light you posted above it looks like there's an extra hole below the middle bulb... is that just lighting tricking me or is there actually a hole there? If so, what's it for?

You should receive it by coming Tuesday from FedEx. The extra hole is for DRL, no worry you have good eyes. Your eyes are not playing trick with you. LOL
