===============

1997 Lexus LX450; triple locked; 244k miles; I'm the 3rd owner.

2 1/2" Iron Man lift with their higher-end gel shocks.

Marks part time conversion with Asin hubs from Slee. I haven't done the pin7 mod yet, so center diff only locks in low range. Front ABS sensors need to be relocated for ABS to be operable, and that kit is currently on its way from Marks in Australia.

New brake pads and rotors last month. Birfields serviced at the same time.

Full engine tune-up spring of '16 (20k miles ago). Runs great. Transmission works great. I'd drive this truck to Alaska today.

New radiator in 2016. New A/C compressor in 2017. Cold A/C.

Reupholstered front seats with Katzkin heating/cooling inserts. Re-covered steering wheel at the same time. Seat forward/back adjustment non-operational (they're all the way back right now).

7 speaker sound system with Pioneer Bluetooth head unit and Pioneer powered sub where the CD changer used to be. Tweeters in the wing mirror panels. i don't know why everyone doesn't do that.

Cooper Discoverer tires aren't new, but they're in good shape and great in mud.

I've removed the factory steps but I still have them. Could use a paint job to be pretty. No rust except for surface rust in rock chips on front bumper and on the trailer hitch. I have a set of third row seats in fair condition that can go with the truck.

Power mirrors work as designed and don't shake. Power antenna works as designed. Power locks work as designed. Remote locking isn't working but I think that's a key fob battery. Sun/moon/tilt roof works as designed. Power windows work, but can be a little sticky when it's wet out... requires patience.

$12k. Located in Austin, TX, but I like road trips so go ahead and ask.

I'll post some this evening, plus a video.

Now that's how you list a truck ... lots of photos and all the important angles. GLWS for what looks like a solid truck.

Still interested, can you tell me about the part time conversion? Not sure why that's a benefit at all, and is a concern of mine.

Hey 8cam. My truck is 99% street use, so it made sense to me to stop spinning the front driveshaft and axles when not necessary. Better mileage, better steering, less wear. I kept all the parts to put it back to full time.

With this truck, you have the choice of 2wd open rear axle, 2wd locked rear, 4wd open diffs (press the center diff lock button on the dash and lock the hubs), 4wd locked rear, 4wd locked front and rear (if you don't feel like steering much), either high or low range.

We went pig hunting in Gonzalez, TX a year ago in this. It had been raining a lot and the roads around Independence Ranch were bud bogs. I locked the hubs and the center and rear diffs, and this truck just monstered everything. It was so much fun.

thanks for sharing proper photos and videos. that's how you do it on mud. is it still available?

Thanks Ali. Yes it is. I'll be installing the ABS sensor relocation kit that arrived from Oz yesterday, but first I have to spend the weekend camping in the rain with the Boy Scouts. : |
