97 Lexus LX 450 $9000

- having serious problems uploading pics - please respond for more - I have 8 megs of zipped images and can take pics of anything else.

140,000 miles. This one will make it to 300,000 miles no problems. Its been pampered. Has spent most of its time in the Carolinas. Steps show a little sign of rust 2-3 inch spot, but those should be changed out to sliders anyway.

New suspension (springs, shocks, steering stabilizer) with 3" OME lift with drop brackets. All brake lines extended with stainless steel hoses. All breather hoses extended up to the engine compartment. 12,500 lb. Summit Racing winch (good line speed, 6.6 hp motor) with custom bracket that hides the winch from the elements/thieves. Throttle lock for using winch. Fairly new (9 months) 33" Bridgestone Dueler Revo's or Firestone MT Destinations. Take your pick. Pics have the Revos on the truck. I have a lifetime alignment and insurance on the tires - I think that the lifetime alignment (Firestone Service Center) is transferable (probably a nominal fee involved).

Replaced:

PHH (I have an extra just in case of emergency)
Tranny Fluid and filter 2 times to flush
Fuel Filter
Diffs and Axles
Control Arm Bushings (not installed - began fabricating new rear control arms)
George's LEDs everywhere (they're great)

Head gasket has not been replaced - it has great compression
Birfields didn't need replacing/rebuilding either - per Lexus dealership mechanic.

Everything works really well. This is a great 4x4. Its also a great around town vehicle. High end luxury interior and ride with a burly 4x4 exterior.

Please contact me to discuss. I'll answer everything that can. I've been through this vehicle front to back and top to bottom and its a great example of a 80 Series Land Cruiser/LX 450. I'm not a professional mechanic - but I am a mechanical engineer that likes working on vehicles. I was pretty anal about going through this truck - I was hoping that I could keep it for a long long time. Unfortunately, the wife's car just got totaled and now we have an extra car payment. Guess who's toys have to go first. Right - mine.

I have more pictures if you'd like to see them and can take pictures of anything that isn't captured already. I can send via email.
