I recently had my engine rebuilt and during that time I removed the steering wheel to have it recovered. I reinstalled the restored steering wheel, careful to reconnect the airbag and cruiser control connectors, and turner it over to the shop to have the engine reinstalled. When everything (engine install) was finished, the airbag light was on and the cruiser control and horn did not work. I rechecked that my airbag and cruise control connectors were firmly connected with no signs of damage (bent pins broken connectors, etc..) and everything looked fine. Since I messed with this area I don't know if I caused the problem and I'm overlooking something or if the engine installer didn't reconnect something. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I think you might have damage the clock spring on the steering column.
Thanks azngarage, I'll look into that. Expensive part, ouch!
