Dealer '97 FZJ SCAM on AutoTrader

If anyone else has had his eye on the '97 FZJ on AutoTrader (the one with 69k miles that was mysteriously listed in 2 different cities at 2 different prices), I just heard back from the guy and it's a clear scam.

Quoting his email:

"The vehicle is located in Yuma, AZ and i put the vehicle for sale available
to your location because i leave in a small city and is very hard to sell .
I hope the pictures got your attention and your interest. I will pay shipping
to your location and i will give you 10 days inspection period. In case the vehicle
is not as advertised or damaged in any way during transportation I'm willing to
take it back with no charge from you."

You know, for a moment I was hesitant to mail money to Nigeria but the 10 day inspection period made up my mind, so you guys can just consider it sold :censor:

i saw a white one on craigslist it was in vegas but the ad was in jersey. Super clean they wanted 4500 for a 96 with 70k on it. The thing was beautiful. Ad states I just get divorce and need money. Please help me. Yeah right. The name on the emails was megan obrien a nice irish girl. Plussssssh
 
yeah - and I've got a loaded, one owner 1997 40th anniversary, that has been sitting in a garage since new because the little old lady couldn't figure out how to register it. Only 50 miles, still has the plastic on the seats. Hate to sell it, but Mom needs an emergency transplant, so I've got to sell the vehicle today. Just wire $2500 to my account in the Bahamas and I'll ship you the truck... :rolleyes:

I got the EXACT same response. I asked for the VIN number and haven't heard back :rolleyes:

Those people are :censor:
