96 Hilux Surf beeping when keys out of ignition

This is driving me crazy , Anyone have any experience with this? Hilux just keeps beeping once the car is sitting. I just recently changed the timing belt and put in fresh batteries. Anyone know what I’m missing ? I’ll attach YouTube link to the sound .

does the sound change with the key in the ignition? it's possible that switch is stuck/failed and the vehicle doesn't recognize the key has been removed.

Yea once the key is turned sound is off

pull the lower bezel and see if unplugging the "key reminder" switch stops it.
typically a two wire on the tumbler
