I am putting up my 1kz-te turbo diesel for sale. '94 4Runner SR5 with SSRG (Limited) interior 4x4. Automatic. 178000 kilometers, roughly 110000miles. I bought this truck from Michael Hooper (Jarco, inc, Toyota diesel expert) about 3 years ago. Had it shipped here from Atlanta and have had it titled and tagged in CA as a Diesel since then. No DMV worries.

I will get current pics up soon, all i have right now are older ones that Michael took when he sold me the truck. Here is a link to the album of pics Michael took. Things I didn't include may look different, i.e bumper dent but otherwise truck is pretty much the same:

Just had IP rebuilt, new timing belt and glow plugs and coolant flushed. ECU has been rebuilt in last year and a half also, newer batteries, thermostat, shocks, fuel filter. 31" BFG A/T's. Sunroof, 4.10 gear ratio, p/w, p/l, p/m, Ipod ready Alpine CD tuner. Limited slip, cruise control, 2 3/4" Fujitsu exhaust, receiver hitch, LHD

Minor quirks with truck:
*rear wiper fluid doesn't work, motor is fine just line or outlet is clogged and I never bothered to fix it
*A/C doesn't work. Never gets that hot here so hasn't really been an issue for me. Hasn't worked since I got it although Michael said it worked for him before he shipped it to me so perhaps it merely needs a charge and a new $.99 o ring somewhere
*power locks only work on drivers door
*minor ding in right rear fender and body by tailight (I replaced taillight assembly so its brand new too) - I backed in to a pole, dohh

Truck runs great and is ready to go, its an animal offorad (think low end) and very well behaved as an everyday commuter as well.
I will do my best to answer the technical questions you may have, but like I said I didn't do the swap I've just driven it for the last 3 years. Asking $14000
Thanks

Jordan

Truck is also list on TDIClub.com, Craigslist, Toyotadiesel.com

Nice looking truck...I'd be all over it if it were a manual. Bump for a nice truck!!!

thanks. there are some 5spd's out there or others have swapped out the auto tranny in these for 5spd's if you feel like getting dirty...

That's a very nice vehicle.

I bought my half-cut from Mr. Hooper--he knows what he's doing and I wouldn't hesitate to snag a truck he converted.

Good luck with the sale! More and bigger pictures might help you sell it quicker.

Hi Dan

Yea I agree with the quality of Michael's work, he is pretty meticulous and definitely knows his stuff. Thanks for your input. CAn you suggest any ways to make the images larger or how to upload more, maybe an entire album. I haven't tried again since I originally posted the pics, perhaps it will let me put up more now. I thought I had maxxed out with my previous pics.

Thank you
Jordan
