Here is one I came across today . Could someone please comment on some of the small issues mentioned: the differential whine, misaligned steering ($600 to fix, really?!), oil usage seems high. Not sure how many miles.

Looks like it a bit of rust, and (of course) it's WHITE - like 85% of them.... arrrrgh, but dang it - the price is right:

1993 Toyota Land Cruiser

Don't know why it would cost $600 to fix the steering unless he bent something. It would be nice to know how many miles it has on it to have a better idea on the oil consumption issue and diff whine. Don't see many with cloth seats (which I prefer over leather) and the price is decent unless it requires an engine.

1 quart every 1000 sounds a bit excessive. The guy says the diff has whined since he's owned it-has he even checked the fluid level? At that price, it's probably worth taking a look at.

The vehicle has 215K miles on it - third owner...

Looks Clean
Oil Use,,,,,,,,,,,, add Oil additive, Like Slick 50, always helps
Overall for 2800.-
a Deal...................I bet Cash will talk even more Down

Dude that is a steal...well, a good deal anyways. Diff whine is most likely a fluid level issue. Especially if he notices it more in LOW. Curb job? Unless he bent a rod (which still wouldn't run 600?) I don't see a major issue. And for a Colorado truck you know that isn't bad. Anyways, all "issues" sound very fixable and at least worth an hours drive.
