I found it in the paper and couldn't resist going to give it a look --

-- i'm going to meet the guy at noon -- he says maroon, leather interior (?), new stereo, new rotors, good drivetrain --

-- worth a look -- i won't be wanting it -- but damn, that's cheap --

-- in buffalo ny --

here are pics --

-- i drove her around the block -- no real problems (clicking, etc), except the steering column needs some lubing --

-- exhaust and motor fine, and brakes good --

-- overall, a solid truck, and came factory with no flares --

-- i was most disappointed with the aftermarket stuff -- the window tint, the fake wood, and the seats -- though the seats can be swapped out --

-- also, the headliner needs some re-stapling, etc --

-- nice tires -- prob. needs a birf job at 203K --

-- nice, solid texas truck though --

THE OWNER is driving from BUFFALO to TEXAS tomorrow and will deliver along the way -- or will meet up -- he has no buyer, so he is looking to sell -- the LC is pretty unknown up here --

-- here's the ad (with his number) --

(716) 895-4519

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll give the guy a call tomorrow...cheap enough.

Eric,

Did you notice if all body panels were original and had the Toyota VIN stickers on them?? Did you drive it?? So there was clicking from the birfs or not?

no clicking or drivetrain noise -- i checked for that -- it actually ran very clean --

-- and the bodypanels are original, i gather, because the non-riveted ones (without the flares) are pretty hard to find -- and there was no bodywork done (from what i could see) to fill aftermarket holes, and the paint had the original cheesy pinstriping on it (which can be removed) --

-- also, i didn't see any paint orange-peel --

-- though i found it weird there was no sun damage for a tx truck --

sold.....but not to me

who bought it?

i would wait -- another one will come -- as i stated above, someone REALLY did a work-over with the seats/tint/fake wood -- that stuff isn't easy to get rid of --

-- anyway, keep your eyes peeled -- i found mine on cars.com --
