91 passngr side mirror glass replacement (1 Viewer)

Any body out here ever repalce there side mirror, GLASS ONLY, any tips or surface prep recommendations. Should I take the motor unit out of the housing to attach it, how much pressure to glass to make it stick securely, ect.? By the way cdan saved me 50% over my local dealer, Thanks!
