91 fj80 cranks but no start

My 91 cruiser with v6 was running fine until I tried starting it after work one day...all crank and no start, sprayed some starting fluid into the carb and still nothing..switched out the efi relay "fuse" and still, nothing...I'd like to try and tackle this project myself. But have little idea on where to start....thanks a ton..hope this is helpfull.

First step is to check whether the Check Engine Light (CEL) is illuminated with the rig off but Key in ON position.

If it is cranking but not starting, I bet it is the EFI relay. You can get them at any auto parts store. It is located in the black box under the hood by the drivers side fender. Dont get it confused with the horn relay they look the same.

Couple of corrections:
You don't have a V6 engine. You have a 3FE straight 6.
You don't have a carburetor. Your engine is fuel injected.

Thanks for the corrections and info...after four days of not starting, she decided to start today. I was in a rush so I killed it and started it again..still am very uncertain and lacking confidence in her at the moment, I'll refresh tommorow...thanks again thus far!
