91 80 has low and rough idle at stop

Runs great while driving, new plugs, fuel pump good, idles poor enough so the engine shakes a bit front drivers side, than back to normal
It also rapidly increased and decreased upon starting it on a hotter day with ac running.

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Try short blasts of starting fluid around the intake and associated hoses. If your idle smooths out or increases, you found the leak. Be careful and you may want to have a fire extinguisher handy.

Check the rubber intake tube for splits or cracks. Replace if needed.

i second that, sounds like a vac leak. sometimes they take longer to find that they do to fix. anything in a can thats flamable will do. carby clean, wd40, pb blaster.

I had the same problem. Is your truck throwing a CEL? I replaced my intake hose etc to no avail... Ended up being a bad 02 sensor.

Another thing to do and check is clean the throttle body and idle air control valve! Common issues with the problem you describe
