I hauled 5,000 lb. of wall rock using my 62 in only four loads! (Well, actually only 4,960 lb. (scaled weight) - the heaviest load was the second, weighing in at just over 1,300 lb.). The guy at the landscape materials place thought I was nuts! The Cruiser didn't seem to mind at all!
The following weekend, I was helping a buddy transport a new diswasher. He had the audacity to ask if the dishwasher would be "too much weight for my truck." Some people...

Land Cruiser: Why drive anything else???
 
We managed to get home from the Rock Co. on surface streets. She handled a little rough (especially in corners), but other than that, drove quite well.

In fact, I was suprised at how much power she (The Beast)still had. Accelerating from a stop didn't feel all that different than travelling un-or-less-loaded.
 
the variegated grass is a liriope
 
The liriope has the narrow leaves near the bottom of the photo. The wider two-tone leaves near the middle (right next to the yard) are hostas.

Actually not too bad with 1000 or 1300 lbs. I even had to up an inclined ramp to reach 55 mph. it still was slow.
