90 series transfer case output flange locking nut

Gday, I have a blown transferr case output shaft seal on my 1997 toyota prado, 5spd manual. Would anyone happen to know if the locking nut on the output shaft flange is normally threaded or reverse threaded and also any tips for loosening this 30mm nut? Thanks.

i would think is it normal thread. put it in gear and use a braker bar on it or use a rattle gun
