Was just looking at the excellent DVD that was made of this repair. Thanks so much guys! I notice that near the end, you need to take an 8mm bolt, screw it into the axle and pull the axle out. Is there a bolt that I can easily remove to do this or do I need to wait for the dealer to open on Tuesday and pick one up?

Just get one from your local hardware store.

I think it's 8X1.25. You can find them located all over a cruiser - so in a pinch you can borrow one from under the hood, and replace it when you're done.

I used the end of the snap ring pliers most of the time. It is also the same bolt as the ABS hold down and quite a few others on the truck.
