Hello Guys,

I want to change the convertible top on a 87 Toyota Celica convertible...is there any manual for that and from where can I get that.

Thank you and Regards
George

That's a good question. You can try the factory service manual (FSM) but I don't know if they will cover convertibles. I think the convertibles were made by a different company.

Here's a link with the phone number of Toyota Publications.

My son has a '94 Celica Sport convertible, they had to change the top last summer. I don't know where they got it, but they paid $500 for it, and in the box was a photocopy of the FSM steps that showed how to install it. So apparently the FSM does have R&R info in it.

The job was a royal PITA, and it still doesn't look right. It's not as tight as the original, has a few puckers in it here and there. Plan at least an entire day, and have a friend help.
