87 fj60 Lifted in Colorado

SOLD SOLD SOLD87 fj60 Fairly new clutch,Heavy Alcan springs (6-7 inches),Bilstien shocks,AR Chamber wheels (1 inch spacers on front), Arb winch bumper -no winch,FJ62 axles(4:10) gears, FJ62 dash grab handle, rebuild water pump and alternator,Jim C de-smog, exhaust rusty and leaks a bit.Roof rack not included. Pretty good shape overall.
Sad to let it go but rarely drive since moving to city. In Lakewood(Denver) Colorado. Edit: Used to be my daily driver for working in the oilfield so I had to have it be pretty dependable. Breaking down in the high desert by Wamsutter Wyoming in the middle of winter could cost you your life ie freeze to death, no joke almost happened to me. I have replaced a bunch of stuff on it like hoses, belts, Motor mount (drivers side the one that always goes bad), transmission mount and whatever else would keep it from driving the 300- 500 miles I would drive it at a time, sometimes in really bad terrain and or weather. Front heater core is new -rear one is in bad shape, radiator leaks a very small amount at seem looks like an easy fix but im not a radiator guy, drove it like this fore long time. Have receipts for most stuff. 4 wheel drive works and does not come out of low. Have extra parts too, carb, dizzy, complete fj60 axles (front housing bent though), all the smog junk to make it legal as well as the rebuilt engine that lost oil pressure and locked up, head is probably still in good shape. All windows good except windshield has a crack.Have spare cargo windows, and some other small things for it. Runs good. $4000 -RobSOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD.

Nice

I would buy your cruiser in a hot second if I had $4000. Nice one!

Maybe for increased front end bumper clearance. Some people complain that the ARBs sit too low for their liking.
It that was the reason it's not a bad idea actually!

Well um ya kind of... if I remember right ( it's been awhile since I put it on) It had a spacer for the brackets to the frame and then there is three different settings for the bumper to bracket to adjust the height... I think like I said it's been on there for a couple years.

Bump for a good rig at a reasonable price.

I met Rob last week and drove this one. Rob's a very good guy, and the rig is nice. It's got some small issues here and there, all of which Rob is very willing to disclose. I don't believe I found anything that he hadn't already told me about.

I ended up buying a clean stocker instead due to finances, but I know I'll regret passing this one up.

Good luck, Rob!

Alex

Spacer: That's why I love Mud. Learn something every day. Love the truck. Would you be interested in a 80 series and giving me some $$?

If I the had money and the 80 is a diesel .... :) Actually I'm trying to thin down the herd. But just out of curiosity what were you thinking? Shoot me a pm or give me a jingle.
Thanks -Rob

Did a little waxing to the cruiser today. Thought I'd post up some pictures. It's kind of overcast today but still looks pretty good. Hope somebody comes for her soon.

Never ran down any mailboxes, and I tend to have short hair. But I have had a few run ins with the 5-0 for " moving violations". The name just came from the fact that I seem to always be somewhere in the high plains of Wyoming. However I was put in cuffs on a dark North Carolina night in the middle of nowhere. The cop thought I was dumping a body on the side of the road, I wasn't. I was.... well, long story anyway good times.....
thanks for the kudos
