Putting out some feelers to see if anyone would be interested in taking over a project i started a couple weeks ago. Drives well interior is a 9/10, typical rust area on quarter panels, frame solid with surface rust. I am looking a possibly going another route as I have my eye on another cruiser fully restored.
The Good:
2F h42 4 speed manual Engine 194K runs strong starts right up
Carburetor Rebuilt in 2015 by local land cruiser specialist
Vacuum lines re organized to factory
Currently in the shop getting the Transmission TCase Clutch A/C and Seals replaced and rebuilt ($$not cheap but needs it)
Will supply 2 replacement quarter panels to match from Wolf Steel in Canada (im not good with a welder so do not want to do this job myself, someone with a garage and the know how this would be an awesome rebuild).
Replaced Rear License plate light assembly with Toyota Emblem as previous was rusty
Have a full front driver side replacement panel i can offer with sale as well.
Brakes work and recently serviced
Original Radio comes with replacement Antenna kit
The Fixes:
At the mileage i would expect some engine seal replacement in the near future another relatively easy fix for someone with a garage and tools to get it done.
As i mentioned i am having the whole drive train being rebuilt currently will be done in another week.
A good sand/soda blast of the under carriage isn't a bad idea.
