I would like to know the value of a 1983 Toyota pick-up w/longbed. Says 126,000 mi. Some suface rust and 1 hole in the bed. 3" lift otherwise looks stock. What do you think? Thanks

I paid $250 for an 84 with a bad 1st gear synchro and no bed on it. Carb needed work too, but did run and drive.
i paid $100 for a 1980 fwd long box last fall.it was missing the top nut on the starter stud and the bottem bolt was almost backed all the way out so it was just laying there and spun.clutch is going now.
$600 got me a 82 longbed 4x4,blown motor,rust and 80`s mural on the side of the doors ???$6000 later I have a cool wheeler-goes up anything and gets great gas mileage.They are the best years of toy pickups in my opinion
I recently purchased an 83 short wheelbase with 250k for $800. Some minor rust on the bed (above the fenderwells and on the tailgate) and has a fiberglass topper. No rust on the cab. Has some tranny noise in 5th gear, but otherwise it runs well and doesn't seem to use any oil or have any significant oil leaks. Bought it from a friend who was the original owner and he had all the maintenance records and the factory service manual. Not sure I would have paid that much without knowing the truck's history, tho.
