Dealer '83 FJ40 at TLC

This is not totally unrealistic for a relatively nice unmolested '83, especially one marketed by Jonathan Ward. I sold one that was a little nicer (and rarer with vent windows) a few years back for $34K, which was then flipped for over $50K.

i agree. inventory seems to be building and it seems like TLC in particular is unloading quite a few. given his depth of knowledge and access to many of the wealthier participants in this market perhaps he sees something coming that the rest of us don't see yet. he has nine for sale on his site right now. i don't remember ever seeing that many before. could be the beginning of bargain season.
