1983 BJ60 for sale. Good 3B engine w/H42 4-speed, approx. 250km. Rusty body, not plated. Essentially a parts truck. $950 obo.

Are you sure on the H41? '83 BJ60's should have the H55 5 speed. The H41 is a low range 4 speed, essentially an H55 with the 5th gear missing (yes the ratios are a little different but not much).

What are you holding up at the passenger front tire?

Definitely has the 4-speed. They are some blocks, so that the truck won't be sitting on the rim (tire has a slow leak).

It has been sitting ever since I bought it about a year and a half ago. Plan had been to use the engine out of it. Then I bought an HJ60...

In Canada the H-41 is not an OEM tranny in any truck. Probably an H42. Have you checked ratios?

Power steering? The picture looks like it's not there but an '83 should have it.

Does it run and drive or does it need to go on a trailer?

It does have power steering, but a GM/Chevy unit in place of the original, done by the PO. It does run, but would need to be on a trailer in order to go anywhere. Are you interested, or simply curious?
Originally I was simply trying to get my money out of it. As I said I need it gone, so any offers (within reason) will be considered.
