The 86 FJ60 3.73
Probably 'all' 60's for America were 3.73

3.70 I think the 3.73 is a common mis-identification because many US trucks had 3.73s in the same era.

X2 , here in Venezuela from 82 to 84 they came 3.73 same like US, but from 85 to 87 they came with 4.11 (i'm not sure) and the H55. the 62's were 4.11 and H55 from 88 to 92

All the USA FJ60s had 3.70 gears. The pinion flange bolt pattern changed in 1985.

Please note-the ring gear has 37 teeth and the pinion has 10 teeth. That's 3.70 in my book.

Here is the USA breakdown of R&P tooth counts

Coarse spline 37 x 9 up to 1978-------------4.11

Fine spline 37 x 9 most of 1978----------4.11

Fine spline 37 x 10 1979-1987----------3.70

Fine spline 37 x 9 1988-1990-------------4.11

Fine spline 41 x 10 1991-1997------------4.10
