Thanks again, Mark (slomo), and to all those who attended, it was a pleasure to meet you all and your families.

Outings like that are what I hoped for when I bought my Cruiser, and I now hope for many more likewise experiences. These vehicles are indeed something special. I will always remember the slack-jawed look of amazement on dirt bike riders' faces as nearly a dozen "luxury SUV's" crawled by on a narrow, eroded trail, especially when they saw my 2-year old in the back seat playing with her dolls. Priceless!

Newbie in Rancho Cucamonga

Coming into this way late but I don't want to be left out next time. I'm new to this sight and TLCA (just mailed in my application) but not new to cruisers. I owned one in college (83 fj60 200k)and got rid of it when the kids came along. Always kicked myself in the rear for that. I'm making up for it now.... I recently inherited a great 88 fj62 200k and I am picking up a factory locked 96 Lx450 this Wed. (keeping fingers crossed)

WOW, the pictures from the meet & greet tuned out great. You guys are going to hate me but I have to keep them until the article comes out. I was not sure what I had until I down loaded them. It was really nice to meet all of you. I was quite amazed at how similar are interest are and what were looking for in 4x4 club. Lets set up another run for next month. I like the idea of just a day trip to one of the local areas. We have quite a few places to wheel just an hour away.

Brentbba, Mars, and Socalfj62 I will hopefully see you at the next one.

Tare, you are killing me man! I was so looking forward to seeing the pictures. :crybaby: I understand though.

I too was happy to hear that all of our interests were on the same plane and I am all about another day trip. How about April 23rd. Does anybody have any favorites for a destination?

You are all welcome. It was truly a pleasure to meet a great bunch of people who happen to like Cruisers as much as me!

TAZ, Big Bear sounds good. Might even resolve the decision of what to do with the factory running boards for some. :D

Man it looks like I missed a great outing! At least I was in my 80 (driving back from Santa Clara) usin' the supercharger to pass people and smoke it up over the Grapevine. Hopefully I'll get to hit the next run. For anyone that would like...So. Cal. TLCA has another meeting coming up on April 2nd. 5:00 at Hamburger Express on Westminster Blvd. Come by, say hey and show off some pictures.

Rich
