Tomorrow is almost here. I am looking forward to meeting those can make it. Anyone from the LA/North OC area want to meet up and ride (caravan) together? I am in Long Beach (south LBC about a mile from OC). I haven't really fiqured out the best way to go yet. I would love to meet up with one, two, three, ten, ... people and drive down together. I think it would be cool to have a number of cruisers taking over the highways of SoCal for a day.. Let me know if anyone is interested..

I just got a call that I have a meeting at 10:00 tomorrow. I'm still going to try to get down there after, but it's not looking likely.

Somebody take pictures! Hopefully we'll do this again. :crybaby:
 
Well, i drove up to Hannas Shop yesterday and picked up my sliders, WOW

Anyway, i wont be making this run, i will be spending the day installing my sliders!

I was wondering the same thing. I already called the district office and could not reach anyone as they are closed on the weekend. I will try to call the local office again. If not I am going to head out real soon and scope it out myself. I will try to call my wife from there and have her put a post out with an update. My cell is (949)412-6036 I will try to stay in range to let everyone know. Absolute worst case scenario I will be at South Main Divide Rd (Killen Rd) and flag everyone down. If it is open I will be at the OHV.

I am up at the summit and Wildomar OHV sign says that it is open. I will inspet first hand to be sure, and if you don't see a white '97 80 with ARB bumper at the junction where you turn off, I will be at the trailhead and it is indeed open.

:princess: and I had a great time! Thanks to everyone for making her feel welcome. She liked it so much that on the way home she asked me if I wanted some sliders for HER LX for MY birthday:) . We were both happy to hear the BAJA interest from many. I can't wait to see the pics (I took my camera but left the memory card in my computer:doh: ). I hope to see all you again soon.

It was great to meet everyone.....and see that we all had similar interests... and see some really great cruisers.... hopefully this is the start of a great 80's group/club......

thanks to slomo for suggesting this.. and getting us all together... great group of guys and gals enjoyed it...and the kids even had a great time....



smittycrusher as another one of those guys who was driving his wifes cruiser:grinpimp: ... the conversation on the way home went the same way except she wanted me to put a 4" in hers and the ome heavy kit from hers into mine.........

Well i gues it will be MINE in the future so I gotta think long term. It just means that it will take a while before I get my 26th birthday present. Hopefully I will get it before I turn 30:rolleyes: . I don't think it would be worth it to put them on MY unlocked/stock/delivery 80 so I guess that she will be the one rock crawling on her way to/from work.

Maybe for Christmas I can get a lift, ARB front, or Hanna Rear as MY present to go on HER LX;)
