Wanted 80 Series w/ LS Swap in CO

I am planning on selling my 60 and moving into an 80 soon, however I really would like to either buy a roller and have an LS swapped in, but preferably one that is already complete. I am really tired of the lack of power in my 2F and the 80's I have driven suffer from the same lack of motivation, especially out here at altitude and on the big mountain passes. I don't care about lockers either, I can always ad those later and I've never needed them with my 60 so far. I am trying to keep my budget around 15k, I don't need fancy bumpers, a lift or anything, just a rust free 80 with a V8 dropped into it, I can do everything else!

1996 LX 450 rust free. I also I purchased this Lexus for an LS swap, but I have to many projects going at this time. Interior is rough, engine has blown head gasket. No rust.

Looks like a great swap candidate! I am hoping to find a complete or mostly complete swapped 80, but if that does not happen I might have to consider doing it myself with the help of someone more capable.

LS swaps unbelievable change in the vehicle I strongly suggest doing it. I have a green 93 I just disassembled and repainted she is a gem with 174,000 on the clock the seats are getting wrapped in Leather right now it has a new windshield and gaskets on the front and rear hatch like I said I disassembled it and painted it properly it’s been cut and buffed to show car finish. This vehicle is unmolested and I am the second owner which I’ve never registered because I bought it to clean up and sell . I would suggest LS2 with 4l60-E
Most shops do the swap for 25k I would do it for 18 plus vehicle I can send references.

I'd offer mine but I'm in arizona and it certainly won't pass colorado emissions. It's amazing what almost double the power will do for an 80 series!

How would any LS not pass emissions compared to a 25 year old motor mine is stroked with a aggressive cam and the numbers are still lower than 6 cylinder

True, no emissions here. I am failing at selling my 60 so V8 80's are on hold for awhile...
