Ok, i will be honest, i want one badly but my funds are super tight. I'm waiting for a deal to finalize (that has been dragging out for 4 months) and when it does i will buy one for sure. So that's the place i'm at. I wish i could say i will be good for it in a week, or whenever, i just can't put a commitment on it yet. trust me, i'm bummed.

I think most want to see the final product before committing which is exactly what I would do.
The final product is in the picture on the kitchen table? It's a big cast piece of iron. Not much you can screw up. With all this R&D and many many months the thread has been alive I don't doubt the product one bit.

No I'm not on that site. I'll be tearing down the engine this weekend hopefully to start the project.
10 is the limit you said right? I have not followed this much so I don't know if you're loyal to that shop, but have you explored other shops for a lower number? I can't speak for others, but I would pay more to make sure I get one. I am all about turbos and would much rather have it then a sc setup.

It took me over a year to find a shop that could do the quality of job I wanted. 10 is the minimum. Coming into the holidays is always going to be a time where things of this nature get put on hold. Maybe after the first of the year people will get on board.
Awesome. Half way there. People will want this thing once the breeze of spring is in the air.
Yea, i may be getting real close... hopefully i can put dibbs on one for my Christmas present.

The only discount might be on shipping but I wouldn't know for sure.
It looks like I can go in for one, i think I have just had the first signs of a HG going on me and if Im doing the top end I will be more comfortable working to the turbo as well.
bad timing on the Hg as it has been bitter cold here in BC, looks like some chocalate milk in the oil, but no missing coolant and the coolant looks real good.

If anyone has changed their mind speak up, but this is getting better for sure. My question is, lets say one of these crack... is it a pain in the butt to fix? I am only the fence about getting a spare as I have always had bad luck with manifolds in jeeps (I know they had issues to begin with the design)
