R&D on the transmission hump is done and they are ready to go!! They also come in two colors to match the interior, grey and tan.

The better half really likes these so far. They stay out of her way (knees) and can be removed and placed in the glove compartment if necessary when not in use. Plus they slide the entire length of the rib on the hump, allowing for multiples being used at the same time, or adjusted positioning for comfort.

DAMMIT!!!!

Now I have to move my outlets and my inverter :bang:

What are the chances I can get a side view of these things? Hoping they just don't impede. If so then my PayPal account is about to get lighter!

Tell me where to point the camera FROM and I'll take another picture. I may even have one that will work. Any of these work? Different view? Let me know...

The last one was the one I needed but after looking at it, how does it stay on when say off-roading or in off camber situations? Just curious.

It is not designed to stay on except under at least semi-normal driving conditions. If you were to say, be going up Tipover Challenge on the end of Hells Revenge, you might want the passenger to hold their drink. I think even if the cupholder that replaces the pocket above the radio was used during that situation it might have a tendancy to spill the drink out.

Gravity is your friend with this one. The way that downward pressure is exerted keeps the holder in place. During testing I purposely drove over speed bumps fast, through pot holes fast and slow. As long as there was weight in the cup being held, the holder stayed the course. No weight, it bounced off.

All in all, I was impressed with how well it held up.

And don't let the marks along the tranny hump worry anyone. They exsisted due to a prototype that was not deburred. The burr cut the tranny hump as you see it. The powdercoated ones are smooth and do not scratch like that.

Intrested in 2 tan ones.....PM sent

Awesome!! I try to ship out same day or at worst, next day depending on time in my time zone. All holders go USPS, shipping is INCLUDED, and USPS says 2-3 days at most to anywhere in the CONUS.

In case this goes to the second page, the address is here. Just go to that web page, select what you want, and pay with paypal!! It's a snap!! (I'm actually surprised how well it is working)

In for one. Wife will like it and my fire dept portable radio will fit in it when a cup isnt there.

Nice

Well it turns out that if you peel back the small tab juuuust a little bit more, you can get it to fit on the center console as well :grinpimp:

Dude, that's so awesome.. I moved mine on the way in this morning, fits perfect right over there above the brake. In fact my hand can now rest on top of the coffee cup while my elbow rests on the center console.. who knew the 80 could be so styling. thanks for the tip!!

Groucho, you should call these "side of the center console cup holders that happen to also fit the tranny hump." Catchy, isn't it? :D

As a note, to make it fit AND have the console close you will have to bend the tab just a touch to get it to sit flat on the lip.

These are perfect. It holds cups perfectly and also is a good spot for my fire radio. I think Ill get another one. That way when Im buy myself I can put a cup in one and my radio in the other. Off to Paypal.

Great bang for the buck.

Saw these at Landtank's place today. They are great...simple yet effective. Ordering 2 now.
