Here....mostly.
Better than stock...can't remember the exact thickness, but slightly thicker than SLEEs. The stock DL is pretty thin and if you wheel it much...all it takes is a little dimple to candy cane the whole thing. (Ask me how I know  ) Anyway it's been sitting in my garage for a few years now ever since I replaced it with a CV/DC driveline. Balanced fine, u-joints are great.

First $150 takes it.

Yes, it's a Toyota shaft as far as I know...just retubed. So the flanges all mate as they should if that's what you're asking.

I also have a number of friends in the club up there in the PHX area. I could always paypal you the $$ and you could drop it off with one of the club members like Tools or Bman or Bluesdawg or spike or FJ40LVR or...:D

Let me know if you need a hand....

This one will work out great for you then.

I'll be out of town this next weekend. If it's something you'd like asap, we can arrange something with one of the other club members up here. I'm in NE Mesa. Let me know, I think bman said he lived pretty close.

Paypal is fine.

Nice score Baggins. :D I'da sent this to a friend if I'd seen it first.

I'd be fine with holding it for ya, but I'm in North Phoenix, damn near everyone else you mentioned is much closer to NE Mesa.

I gotta learn to start breaking stuff a week later...lol.

I just finished destroying my rear DS and taking it to a shop for some super tubing.

I have Tools hooking up with him to get the DS for me. I have a feeling, after talking to Kevin, that I may have to crawl under his rig in Payson and unbolt my DS to get it.

What was that saying,,, possession is 9/10 of the law!:D

i didnt realize there was so much demand for re-tubed 80 shafts,,,, if i can get a shaft from someone i can start a chain of re-tubed shafts in .120 wall. lemme double check price before i quote it here, but it'll be $150 or less.

any interest?

I've got mine already (both ends) but every time I go on Payette with 80's someone dents theirs. Would these be balanced?

Howdy! I have a good supply of .250 x 40 x 2.5 and 2.75, if somebody wants to go absolutely overboard on these!! John

Nice score Alvin!

That said, it seems to be a bit cheaper to just get a few OEM drive shafts and throw them in the rig as spares. That way you are not wasting a ton of cash (well, relatively) on a thicker walled DS. You can get OEM DS's for $30-$50 on MUD, from Slee, or from the junk yard.

I've always gone the cheaper, "weakest link" route...

Alvin,

Safado lives real close to me. I can pick it up for ya this week so that we're sure to get it to Payette for ya.

LMK.

Alvin,

BMAN swung by tonight and picked it up for you...ready to go for the weekend.

As for the "weakest link" route...good luck with that one. The u-joint alone at C-Dan prices are 90 for the pair plus shipping. And good luck shipping the driveline, that'll double those prices quickly. Obviously to each his own, but you'll never consider it a waste and it's a good idea for anyone to get them re-walled. My lesson was learned on my first run out in the 80...without a CDL as mind you. 35 miles home in low range and you start thinking about upgrades.

have fun with it and put it to good use.
