The rubber hose that is listed in the hose thread is only 2 1/8" longer than stock. I'm running 5" coils and a 30mm spacer on the front so a rubber hose that is only 2 1/8" longer will be too short. This is why I went stainless.

Aren't Slees only 2" longer than stock? I thought they were, guess i better re-up my knowledgebase.

edit: I see they list as +4" now... does that mean 4 extra inches or for a +4" lift?

No Mark, we actually discussed your probability of success and allowed that you could likely meet the challenge with one hand! Do wish you had been there though... Next time?

What was this challenge...and Randi and I both wish we had been able to make it...definitely next year!

I think the frame to axle is an additional 4 inches.

For most it was to hang from the end of the diving board facing the pool and curl yourself up and onto the top of the board. For Bodean, however, it was just seeing the board.

Correct. Will work for lifts to 6". I'm 0.11 taller than 6" I'll be fine back to the regulally sceduled 80 forum/crawfish boil chat.

Is that Bodean ended up looking like Freddy?

I was goofing off under the diving board and the women got curious then some of the guys tuned in. Basically you are hanging underneath the diving board . Do a pull up and place the top of your thighs on the top of the diving board in one motion. Essentially a half back flip from the water to the diving board with a pullup like motion. Julie and i were the only 2 that could do it.
You and randi will have to try it the next time you guys are down.

Back to the brake lines. Its just a matter of finding the right length, thats all and who makes em and /or what part numbers. Not overthinking it just getting some info in our 80 thread. No biggie.

...Julie and i were the only 2 that could do it....

I could have done it, but pretended I couldn't so Julie or Debbie or one of the other wimmins could grab my a$$ for a boost :grinpimp:. Well worth the blow to my ego

Y'all better start talkin' about bewbies soon... all this talk about length and extra inches is starting to sound

the extra length is for when they're flexin'

in the gym bathroom mirror!

WTF are yall talking about??? Not even scratch anymore!

We talkin about brake lines, bodean what you talkin about?

I love Slee's products. I have his SS extended brake lines wheel to axle and axle to frame. The rubber/plastic coating on the 2 front axle to frame lines split not long after I installed them. I don't think the coating is plyable enough to keep up with the angles they're asked to bend to while turning.

My 2 cents. :flamingo:
