That 91 in above post was leaking everywhere it seemed. I have some pics but did not turn out so well. The good thing is there is no rust on underbody. It is hard to rust with 1/4 inch of oil and grease covering everything.
I have had both also. 3FE great for wheeling. Used it when I would go hunting never had a issue with it. Easy to work on, Mine had oil leak also snuged up oil pan bolts and it help alot, rear seal still leaks a little bit but does not leave spots like it used to. I can tell that the 3Fe is not as powerful as the 1fze. You will not get airbags, front and rear lockers, Hard leather, and disc brakes with ABS on all four corners, And head gasket issue with the 3fe. BOTH are great rigs. if you find one in memfo and want some one to look at with you let me know.
can't supercharge a 3fe. they only make em for the 95-97 now.

that looks pretty good! does it have front and rear lockers? looks like the switch is there. offer 8k.

pass on the 40th... it doesn't have lockers. Plus it has laces out and Bodean needs an 80 for Moab

Think the 40th is gone. Its not on the co. website. It is kind of an old craigslist post, not sure how I missed that before. Gonna call tomorrow.

When you compare the one you posted earlier (https://forum.ih8mud.com/vehicles-trailers-sale-wanted/386144-1997-fzj80-40th-e-lockers-built.html) vs the one above, IMHO, there's no comparison. I don't think you could pay even 8K for this one and end up with one like the earlier one at full-asking price of $13.5K. Unless you're looking for a 40th, you CAN find one much cheaper...........
