Well, the 80 is tentatively up for sale and I realize after having this sitting in the garage for a year, that even if I end up keeping the truck it's one of those projects that I will probably never finish.

Forum member jmvar made me this awesome fiberglass enclosure to fit in the rear quarter panel area and house a 10 or 12" shallow sub. I believe the depth is just under 4" and the volume is approximately .9 cubic feet. What I have is just a bare fiberglass enclosure with a blank MDF baffle, as I never did decide on exactly which driver to use. Looks like this, minus the cutout for the driver:

Yep, will fit any LC or LX 91-97.
 
How does this mount? Do you also use the stock panel or do you lose that? Also, you said that yours is uncut so would the hole for the sub have to be cut out?

Check out the thread I linked above for some good pics of the install process. The box will fit behind the stock panel with some modifications. You are correct on the hole for the sub, the MDF baffle is still blank so you would need to cut a hole specifically sized for the sub that you plan to use.

$225 shipped is about as low as I want to go, otherwise I'll just keep it. Let me know if you're interested! Eugene is actually where I picked my 80 up from a few years ago.

Bump, this is a sweet setup for a hidden sub. There must be a few other audio nuts out there?
