Well, the 80 is tentatively up for sale and I realize after having this sitting in the garage for a year, that even if I end up keeping the truck it's one of those projects that I will probably never finish.
Forum member jmvar made me this awesome fiberglass enclosure to fit in the rear quarter panel area and house a 10 or 12" shallow sub. I believe the depth is just under 4" and the volume is approximately .9 cubic feet. What I have is just a bare fiberglass enclosure with a blank MDF baffle, as I never did decide on exactly which driver to use. Looks like this, minus the cutout for the driver:
