I've posted this in the 80 section and I didn't get an answer, so I don't want full high steer, it would be a real pita moving around all my mounts. So here's my question, I want to run cross over using one of slees high steer arms, and for extra clamping force using arp studs, I was also going to weld on a 3/8ths tab that welds onto the arm and bolts to where the steering stop is. I have hydro assist on the tie rod so it will alot of stress off the knuckle... I want to raise my roll center and eliminate my fairly steep drag link angle and some bump steer

Its on leafs but Zembalayan on Pirate ran a single slee arm for high steer on his runner with 80 axles. I think there are pictures on the Binksfab facebook page.

Many have said 80 knuckles take weld pretty good. I think BoogerWeldz had even had arms made up that he was going to weld to his stock 80 knuckles. Shoot him a pm.

I planned to go the RHD arm route and chevy y steering for my RuffStuff axle, but i may just hold off for Hellfire's next batch.

My axle has to come forward 2 inches so my plan is just to see where everything fits when i get my hands on the parts. Based upon my measurements I have enough room for high steer. If not, I'll notch the frame.

js93cruiser,

If you move your drag link up at the axle, you will have to redo your axle side panhard as well, so what other brackets would you have to alter for high steer?

I know, that's what I meant by fixing my roll center, it would just be a mess with the hydro lines and having to make a new tower for the ram. Among having to shim the ram for the different throw etc...

Do you have pictures of your front setup? I'm to lazy to search at the moment.

I have a bigger front diff as well
