80 Series Cracked Dash Repair Suggestions

The dash on one of my 80’s is cracked. What’s everybody doing these days to repair them? Any helpful links? It’s a grey one out of a 93 so I don’t think new oem is an option.

I put a Covercraft cover on the one I am cleaning up. Crack is tiny and I do not want to make it worse.

Donut has a video on youtube about dash flocking. It’s a genuine repair option that looks to be about as laborious as any other repair. Anything easier would be a dash cover of some kind. It’s got a cool rally car look to it.

I have called these folks before but they don’t do dashes with airbags so 95+ is out unless they have changed that policy.
