@TahoeLX450 i think you called early this morning. Sorry about that, I totally faded. I was helping someone do the wiring for their winch and swap out their winch cable for synthetic. Then did the window seals on all four doors. Day just got past me.

I'll go thru the logs and see what happened.

Folks, turns out I'm an idiot. The APU1, the one that fits on the underside of the lower lid of the console, is not setup to use the screw studs in this location. I had originally planned on mounting the APU onto the sides with the air gap but I since changed the design to get better fitment of the inside cubby. I didn't take that change into account for the lower lid. If you screw into the bottom of the lower lid you WILL be drilling and screwing into the upper compartment area. Some may not mind but I know I mind. It will drive me nuts to see four screw tips poking through the plastic. Yes, my liner could cover it up enough not to notice but its a sucky thing to have to do to cover up my mistake. I've already spoken to a few of the APU1 owners and it turns out you had other ideas for mounting locations so that is good. For those that are planning on mounting under the lower console please contact me first and I will send you a set of VHB snaps for free so that you don't have to drill into the compartment. Ugh, this bugs me to no end. Sorry about this folks. This issue ONLY exits for the lower console of the 80 series. If you are mounting anywhere else then this does not apply.

I thought you were joking originally when you were talking about "instructions" on how to install these..... Now I can see you were serious and I understand why. Lots of little variances can be a PITA.

But...It's not the fact that there is a problem, it's all in how you RESOLVE it! Customer Service and Communication! Nice job Joey!

:hhmm: Same issue with single hinge earlier models?

Thanks, I'm trying to work it all out :P

Did you send me a pic of your lid? I don't remember now.
I don't remember either. Next time I head out I will take a pic. But in the meantime it is like this one:

I had ordered one of each organizer, but I don't need the new replacement snaps @NLXTACY . The lower console unit is destined for my camping drawers, the upper console unit for the upper console with the screws.

Huh?
Leather anything on 90-91(92)??
Thought the screws would work for the 93-94??

Ya, I have a 94. I can look at my buddies 93 this week. Based on the pics I posted thought we came to the conclusion the lower hatch is more similar to the 60 series.

I would speculate the stock lower hatch is the same or very close 91-94.
