Well not sure what you are considering getting but lets say its the APU-2 by itself. Assuming sending to QNSLND, AUS using zip 4000 this is what I show for shipping via US postal service:

It its UPS, then it really sucks ass because this is what it comes up as:

So I'm not sure which one is "reasonable"

well $21 is still reasonable when most things to get shipped to aus are well in excess of $50

For light weight stuff priority mail international express is pretty reasonable. Anything over 1 lb is another story.

For some reason, which I can't explain, using multiple shippers on ebay brings the cost dow A LOT. For ex a couple of drive shafts (29 lbs) shipped from US to EU was only $32 for a 10 day trip, including USPS.
International Priority Shipping via Global Shipping program, said on the package.

Worth checking it out.

I guess you have to use ebay services in order to be able to ship anything through those services.

There is a way around that, I think. List the item on ebay, have your customer buy it and ship it that way.
A lot more complicated, ebay fees too. IDK, just trying to help out.
