Hmm, you know what could fit perfectly in this panel? A non-sucky simple tool.

Nail clipper?

You'll certainly have my money. I've got all the items you've pictured minus the flash drive buried in my console and digging for them is a near daily occurrence. Usually I'm in a hurry and turn into one pissed off individual running through the job site with my brick hammer scaring all the tradesman.

This product could have a real calming effect on my daily activities.
Have you considered a side career as a life coach?

Nail clipper?

Here's what I posted on FB:
Simple tools don't have to suck.

I hate cheap tools. I much prefer to buy a quality tool and spend a little more for it knowing that tool will serve me for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, as more production goes offshore, our options are getting smaller. Sure there are times when you are forced to get the Chinese made gadget or whatever but I try not to.

I was finally at my Wits' End :rimshot: with a pair of nail clippers. You know the kind. The $1.29 purchase at the gas station or local CVS Pharmacy. There are a few dozen strewn through my home and vehicles. Never paying much attention to them, until you need it to do its job. Well, this pair failed. The pin pulled out of the stamped metal. Junk. Second pair, the pivot was rusted and left rust marks on my fingers. Junk. Third pair and one edge of the clipper was dented and didn't give a good cut. Fourth pair? I had enough. I was on the hunt for a damn fine pair of nail clippers.

A recent trip to Japan allowed me to check out all of the cool gadgets and toys and tools that Japan has to offer. I was in heaven. I had purchased a set of nail clippers that I loved. What I didn't know is that the TSA felt they needed the nail clippers more than I did. Thanks guys, you're keeping the skies safe from the nail clipper wielding terrorists. Sheesh.

Finally I figure out the brand of nail clippers and I purchased one. I was in love again. Then it dawned on me, I can't be the only person who needs a dedicated pair of nail clippers. I can't be the only person that hates cheap nail clippers. So I ordered up a large batch of them, had them laser engraved with the Wits' End logo and now I have something that is Made in Japan gracing the pages of Wits' End.

You know, the pages no one can see yet :flipoff2:

I've been an unpaid life coach for a lot of years. Maybe it's time to switch careers again :hhmm:

I'm not allowed to touch my wife's Japanese nail clippers and tweezers. If they go missing the whole household feels the wrath. They are very nicely made.

So when does the site go live?

All signs point to the 27th. The Friday before is when a bunch of stuff comes back to me and when I send out all of my development for the next wave of products ;)

Plus it gives me an opportunity to spend three days in Vegas before I'm inundated with problems with the site, problems with delivery, problems with inventory, problems with customers and problems with my left foot that just fell asleep as I type this on my throne :flipoff2:

Will those clip fire line. 8lb test. Looking for a good pair of clippers that can do the job.

Alright guys, something else to potentially add to the console panel...

A Glorified Paperclip :flipoff2:

NOTE: This is a general use stand-in for the OEM SST 09843-18020 used for setting ignition timing, checking ABS, transmission and airbag diagnostics.

I know what you are thinking, "A fancy jumper wire? For the Diagnostics port? I just use a paperclip". I use to be the same way.

There are two incidents that occurred within the past three months that forced a rethink of the jumper wire:
1. Person A needs some help tuning their truck before a smog check. Truck needs to be at 3deg Ignition Timing before heading out. Person A puts in the paperclip and starts the truck. Assuming its in diagnostic's mode we proceed to set timing. Can't get it set correctly. Turns out the paperclip wasn't in the terminal enough to make contact, it was off to one side. Try again.
2. Person B calls in a panic that their truck is driving like hell after being serviced. Pop the hood and eventually find that the paperclip was still in the diagnostic port. Person B had forgotten the paperclip was even there.

So why not prevent dumb mistakes like this? The Metri-Pack male terminals give you nice, positive engagement and the length of the cable, coupled with the bright red coating, lets you know its still there and needs to be removed. Simple and easy and no need to hunt for a paperclip. Of course you should still have a paperclip to use for when this gets snagged :flipoff2:

Ok no Redline at my local Sport Chalet but tested with everything they had. Everything 8# and under was no issue. Like butter. Some 10#s were ok and others just smashed the line. Anything higher than 10# is a definite no go. Anything lead core was a no go.
