80 Series Back Seat Delete

I've got a 1990 HDJ81 that has a TrekBoxx drawer system all the way back, but I am looking for ideas from anyone who may have done a backseat delete.

We travel with our dog so I am thinking that I want to build something that will be flat, but I don't think I want it to be as high as the top of the drawer system. I just think it might be too high for my dog if it is level with the drawer system.

Any ideas, photos, or commercial systems that are available would be greatly appreciated!

in my 100 i removed the middle seats for a trip out to MOAB this year. Used a 3/4" piece of plywood and bolted it down to the seat anchors. end goal is to wrap it with outdoor carpet and thru bolt tie downs
