80 series and QLD legality

Hi all, 1996 80 series read lots but still don’t understand lol
33” and 3” lift legal in QLD, looking at going 35” with 3” on next tyre change is that still legal.

No, but do it anyway. Or at least that's what I'd do, as everyone does. You will be up for thousands to get that engineered and they may want better brakes with it.

Ok thanks, seems there’s plenty of 80’s with 3” lift, suppose if we don’t drive like a dick and plus we have no esc we stand a bit of a chance being left alone ? Fingers crossed.
Seems like the Police are looking at the vehicles with big lifts and big lifts with esc etc??
4wd 24/7 80 series is surely illegal and is on the TV but not touched

I was personally pulled over by the cops and they did a vehicle check on me. I was running a 4" lift, 35s ect. Got let off. There was more than 100 things illegal on that vehicle, was basically what all the others were running.

Not sure on the 4wd 24/7 guys rigs, you probably just wouldn't know if they did get pinged by the cops

Shauno’s 60 got engineered according to the episodes, I think he mentioned somewhere that his 80 has as well. Might be wrong on that though.
