Tube bumper for the 80. Cut 3 5/8" off the frame rails, tucks in nice for better departure angle. More to come :)

seems about time to start one for the 100. Looks rad.

Where is the spare tire? In the stock location? In the cargo area? Is this a one of production or a planned product? Looks great!

Spare will be mounted on a swing out. This is the first 80 series bumper I have built. I hope to be making more in the future.

I am a small custom shop. Everything is built to order, nothing is kept in stock. I am hoping to have an 80 soon to be able to build bumpers and sliders without having the cutomer's vehicle here on site.

nice work Stan.....sorry im not a fan of the tube bumpers...

Thank you, no worries, not everyone likes the same things. Different strokes don't ya know

i havent seen dual swingouts on the tube before. Cant wait to see it.

Looks great Stan, just don't forget the hot tub mount...

Hot tub can be mounted in the 2" receiver, if he goes for a front bumper later on he can mount the hot tub in the front too :)

Single swing out, although he may convert to a dual later on down the road.

No worries, not everyone likes tube bumpers, they are generally the folks that don't buy them:D

Haha

They aren't my #1 choice but if the price is right I may have one in my near future.

why would you take the time to post that?

because I am planning on new bumpers for my 80, and I like working with Stan. I was hoping to see something different..

Watching to see how these swing outs end up working out. Nice work so far!

Thank you. Something different is no problem. This customer wants a tube bumper that is light weight and provides the protection he requires.

When it comes time for you to have a bumper(s) built I will be more than happy to accomodate your particular requirements.

I build far more tube bumpers than I do plate style so this build also gives me the oppertunity to prototype all the little details involved with a tube bumper for an 80.

As always, mine is a one man custom shop. The end goal is to build for a specific customer what they need to serve their particular needs. In that light, making changes to a "stock" design in order to accomodate spefic needs or taste is not an issue.
