80 front reinforced steel bumper

hello 80 owners

would just like to share a custom steel bumper we're fabricating.

bullbar was given a pointed slant towards the middle for a more aggressive / modern look

there are also reinforcements / xmembers behind the 5mm steel for added protection

whole bumper weighs about 110lbs.

still in the process of fabricating siderails to rockslider protection

yes, 5mm steel. did we go overboard on that one?

Good job. BTW with the square headlights and this bumper it kinda reminds me with the 62's frontend.... Which INHO one of the most handsome cruiser designs!

thanks guys, though am thinking that the approach angle is a BIT sacrificed due to that small groove below similar to the ARB bumper...

@The Moe- actually the VX limited came with the frosted whole headlights... but this square quad headlights really appeal to me.

will post pics of updates. based on the design we formulated it oughta look good!

It looks similar to an arb. I guess that's good if you like that style of bumper. Hopefully it will be stronger.
